Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

VOGUING 2Hi.  I’m glad you’re here.

Here’s a little about me:

My family traveled until I entered the seventh grade.  We lived in many places stretching from Washington, D. C. to Yokosuka, Japan, always through San Diego, CA.  Life as a Navy Brat is life as a vagabond.  My life was exciting and fun.

More fun highlighted teen years, the best in high school.  Sports, good buddies, surfing, general high jinx.  Not so much fun academically.  Barely graduating from high school, I could get into only junior college.  Things did not get any better.

Life for me did not improve until I flunked out of college and reported to MCRD, San Diego for Marine Corps Boot Camp on 3 August 1966.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Remembrances of My Service in the Marine Corps, recounts my experiences as a Marine.
